Our annual Employee Recognition Awards celebrate the efforts and commitment of our employees towards achieving our strategic goals and demonstrating our values. The awards are an opportunity to recognise people who consistently give their all each day, and are committed to doing their best work and maximising their impact, no matter what their role.

This year, more than 80 individuals and teams were nominated for demonstrating excellence in award categories aligned to the objectives and values within our Strategic Direction, plus our new Reconciliation Champion award.

There were 8 individual winners and 8 team winners, with the judging panel also recognising 9 other nominees with high achievement certificates.

We also proudly recognised Andrea Smith, whose remarkable 40+ years of service to Cabinet Office will be honoured through the new Andrea Smith Service Excellence Award – a perpetual award launching in 2026 to celebrate outstanding commitment to public service.
