The Multicultural Festival contributes to our government’s priority to showcase Adelaide as a vibrant cultural centre and to foster greater engagement through the celebration of our culturally diverse community.

All South Australians are invited to come and join us at this inclusive community event as we expand and build upon interculturalism and social harmony in our community.

The 2019 Multicultural Festival will be held on Sunday 10 November from 11am to 5pm in Victoria Square/ Tarntanyangga, Adelaide.

By celebrating and highlighting the significant contributions our multicultural society is making to the advancement of South Australia, it will build bridges, promote understanding and transform communities.

This festival has been held every second year since 2013 and will feature multiple performances, intercultural activities and stalls for community groups to showcase their cultural heritage through art, craft, food, dance, music and activities in a large-scale, positive and celebratory platform. It gives all South Australians the opportunity to come together, engage with others, share traditions, build relationships, awareness and connections between cultures and communities.
