The winners of the State Government’s Collaborative Economy Challenge - Share - were announced at Open State last night.

In an exciting outcome, Spacetoco and Connecting Up to Shared Assets were selected as joint winners of the $50,000 grand prize sponsored by Airbnb.
Share sought proposals for new enterprises based on the sharing economy principle of unlocking the value of underused assets.
Start-ups, entrepreneurs and innovators from around the country responded to the challenge by submitting over 100 ideas.
Ten preliminary finalists – including eight South Australians – then took part in a two-month acceleration program to refine their concepts and create commercialisation strategies. They also each received $5000 worth of professional services to help them develop their ideas further.
Five finalists then pitched their ideas to a judging panel at Open State last night.
Spacetoco continued their success by winning the $10,000 People’s Choice Prize.
