Exhibitors at South Australia’s biggest employment expo are now busy following up with the potential new recruits they met at the event.

Over 10,000 job seekers, graduates, students and their parents connected with 132 employers at JOBEX across Adelaide, Port Augusta and Murray Bridge last month.

New and emerging career pathways and job opportunities were explored alongside the education and training options available to help make them a reality.

The program for all three locations saw over 80 speakers participate in nearly 50 panel discussions and seminars focussing on five growing sectors: defence and ship building, health and research, IT and hi-tech, energy and mining, and tourism, food and wine.

World-leading resources company BHP used the expo to start its search for candidates to fill more than 120 new roles over the coming 12 months.

One of many exhibitors from the energy and mining sector at JOBEX, BHP is looking to add to its diverse workforce in Adelaide and Roxby Downs to support the underground expansion and new projects in development.
