November 11 2018 will mark 100 years since the end of the First World War.

At 11 am on 11 November 1918, the armistice (signed by Germany earlier that morning) came into effect, finally signifying the long-awaited end to the war.

To honour the almost two million Australian men and women who have served in all wars, conflicts and peacekeeping operations, you can observe one minute’s silence at 11am on 11 November or attend an Armistice service.
