The French Engagement Office is focused on developing opportunities to ensure that South Australia can benefit from Australia’s $50 billion Future Submarine Program which was awarded to French company DCNS.

The office coordinates agencies to strengthen economic and business ties with France to foster trade, investment and job creation in key priority sectors such as advanced manufacturing, renewable energy, agriculture and healthcare.

It also focuses on developing broader opportunities across a number of areas including education, research and development, tourism and the arts.

The team leads diplomatic and government-to-government relationships with key national, regional and local French government leaders.
