In another sign that South Australia’s relationship with France continues to grow, the state’s presence in Paris has been officially opened by Premier Jay Weatherill.
South Australia’s Representative in France, Corinne Namblard, will work with DPC’s French Strategy team to strengthen existing links with key contacts and to identify and build new relationships with French businesses.
Ms Namblard has lived in South Australia and France and has an outstanding knowledge of both business environments. Her expertise in generating business activity will help SA take full advantage of the opportunities emerging from our state’s relationship with France.
The State Government committed to establish a South Australian Office in France shortly after French company Naval Group (formerly DCNS) was selected to build Australia’s 12 future submarines.
South Australia is the first state in Australia to establish a permanent presence in France, a move which demonstrates its commitment to a long and mutually beneficial connection well into the future.
